Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik expands premium range – launches four new classics for the winter season

For the upcoming season, Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik is expanding its exclusive premium range with four new candle launches – all rooted in the factory’s long candle-making tradition and with an appeal for the design- and environmentally conscious consumer. The new products include the elegant Sofia Antikljus in white, as well as red versions of the Kupéljus, the Prismaljus, and the Annaljus.

Sofia Antikljus – an elegant, longer Antique candle
The Sofia Antikljus is the sister candle to our classic Christina Antikljus – crafted in a more traditional and artisanal way. This elegant, longer dinner candle stands 36 cm tall and has a turned base that provides a stable fit in most candleholders. The candle is undipped, made of 100% stearin, Nordic Swan Eco labelled, and has a burn time of around 10 hours.
With its pure white colour and timeless silhouette, the Sofia Antikljus adds a stylish touch to both everyday dinners and festive occasions. The candle is part of our premium range and reflects our focus on craftsmanship and quality.

Kupéljus– a candle tradition from train compartments
The Kupéljus originated as a light source in train compartments and has, over the years, become a timeless classic in Swedish homes. It is 11 cm high and has the same diameter as a tealight, making it perfect for tealight holders on the dining table. With a burn time of 8 hours, made of 100% stearin, dipped in coloured wax, and Nordic Swan Eco labelled, the Kupéljus combines functionality with modern style.
The red version brings a warm and atmospheric tone to winter table settings.

Prismaljus – octagonal classic for the season’s celebrations
The Prismaljus is characterised by its distinctive octagonal shape – a classic design that suits both modern and traditional candleholders. With a length of 28 cm and a burn time of 8 hours, the Prismaljus is an elegant taper that blends form and function. It is made of 100% stearin, dipped in coloured wax, and Nordic Swan Ecolabelled.
The red Prismaljus is a stylish addition during the darker months of the year.

Annaljus– stately candle in a stylish edition
The Annaljus is a solid-coloured, elegant candle inspired by our traditional church candles. At 36 cm tall with a burn time of up to 49 hours, it is both decorative and long-lasting. The candle is self-extinguishing, made of 100% stearin, and both Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and RAL-certified. The red Annaljus enhances the sense of celebration and tradition in winter interiors.

Sustainability and environmental benefits of stearin
All candles in the collection are made of 100% stearin – a renewable and resource-efficient material. This means our candles have a lower climate impact compared with candles made of paraffin, soy wax, or palm stearin. All are Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and produced from carefully selected raw materials that meet strict EU and Nordic Swan environmental labelling criteria, ensuring a clean burn with minimal soot.

Launch and availability
The Sofia Antikljus will launch at the end of August. The red versions of the Kupé-, Prisma-, and Annaljus will launch in October ahead of the Christmas season. All products will be available in selected stores and online at liljeholmens.se.
