Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik opens pop-up stores in Stockholm and Malmö
Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik is expanding its presence with its own physical stores. On 30 September, the company will open its first pop-up store in Stockholm, at Birger Jarlsgatan 41. One week later, Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik will return to Malmö and Södra Tullgatan 3, following last year’s popular pop-up store. The stores bring together the entire world of Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik, with classic stearin candles, new products, premium candles and products that can otherwise be difficult to find in stores.
With two pop-up stores during the most important candle season of the year, Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik aims to meet more consumers directly and give them the opportunity to discover the full breadth of its range in one place.
“We want to create stores where visitors can truly step into the world of Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik and discover the full breadth of our range. Here, our classic candles and long history meet new colours, products and expressions. We are especially excited to open in Stockholm for the first time this year while also returning to Malmö,” says Anna Morau, Marketing Director at Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik.
The stores offer the complete Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik range, from classic stearin candles and the company’s premium collection to this year’s new products. Visitors will also find beautiful church candles that are not normally available in stores and are traditionally crafted with great skill and care.
A large part of each store is dedicated to loose candles, allowing visitors to choose from different colours and types of candles. In the run-up to Advent and Christmas, the stores also offer a wide selection of calendar candles, Christmas candles and candles for traditional Christmas candle holders.
For those looking for a gift, the stores offer both candles and other products inspired by the long history of Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik. The range includes posters, trays and matchboxes featuring designs from vintage posters and historic packaging. Corporate Christmas gifts can also be ordered in the stores.
Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik has been crafting candles since 1839, and production still takes place in Oskarshamn, Sweden. The candles are made from renewable raw materials such as stearin, rapeseed wax and shea stearin, with a focus on quality, carefully selected materials and a long tradition of Swedish candle making.
