Founded in 1777 in Copenhagen by Swede Jacob Holmblad, ASP-HOLMBLAD is soon celebrating 250 years of candle-making excellence. As one of Denmark's first stearin candle manufacturers, the company holds a prestigious place in the nation's history, being one of its oldest and still operating companies.
Gies Kerzen
Gies Kerzen, founded in 1899 in Germany by Adam Joseph Gies, has a rich history of more than 100 years. The company sells candles under the Gies and Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik brands, as well as customers’ brands.
Promol Candle
Indústria de Velas, S.A., Liljeholmens Group's production site in Portugal, manufactures candles under various brands, including Gies Kerzen, Asp-Holmblad, Liljeholmens Stearinfabrik, and Promol Candle, as well as private labels and tailor-made products.
Skånska Stearinljusfabriken
Founded in 1951 by Sven Wallin in Ängelholm, Skånska Stearinljusfabriken has earned a trusted reputation in Swedish candle-making. Known as a Royal Court Purveyor since 1993, the company is celebrated for its 100% stearin candles, crafted to uphold the highest quality standards.
